Paintin' the Schoolyard!

Started working with MACE, CUBA, and Big Anthony on a community art project; we're out to paint the schoolyard at Aptos Middle School in SF!  We're on board with full on support from both students and faculty..  The school has a concept of painting the barren concrete walls with positive words and collaborative imagery developed by the students- and we volunteered to bring this project to life through spraycan. At times I felt like we were the ones bein' schooled, because these kids are killin' it with cans!, seriously. Happy to be on board with this as a guest artist. Not to mention, the view from that San Franciscan hilltop is gorgeous! Here's a peak at the past two weeks:
